PowerLiftX Forklift Detailed Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage Tiers

1.1 Standard Warranty

  • Duration: 12 months or 2,000 hours, whichever occurs first
  • Covered Components:
    • Engines (factory-installed)
    • Transmissions
    • Steer & drive axles (excluding brake assemblies)
    • Carburetor
    • Alternator
    • Starter
    • Speed governor
    • Ring gear
    • Fly-wheel
    • Sensors
    • Hydraulic pump
    • Oil pump
    • Electronic components
    • Torque converters

1.2 Limited Warranty

  • Duration: 12 months or 1,000 hours, whichever occurs first
  • Covered Components:
    • Hydraulic lift cylinders (factory-installed)
    • Hydraulic tilt cylinders (factory-installed)
    • Steer cylinders (factory-installed)
    • Control valves (factory-installed)

1.3 Extended Warranty (if applicable)

  • Duration: 12 months or 4,000 hours
  • Covered Components:
    • Engine
    • Transmission

2. Warranty Validity Conditions

PowerLiftX Warranty programs are valid only under the following conditions:

  • Equipment is new at the time of original purchase
  • Equipment is properly serviced according to PowerLiftX’s recommended maintenance schedule
  • Equipment is operated under normal conditions for its intended use
  • Equipment is used within the continental United States

3. Detailed Limitations and Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

3.1 Damage and Misuse

  • Repairs or replacements due to accidents
  • Damage resulting from misuse or neglect
  • Issues arising from lack of reasonable and proper maintenance

3.2 Improper Repairs and Modifications

  • Repairs improperly performed
  • Replacements improperly installed
  • Alterations or modifications not recommended or approved in writing by PowerLiftX

3.3 Non-Original Parts

  • Use of replacement parts or accessories not conforming to PowerLiftX specifications which adversely affect performance and/or durability

3.4 Wear and Tear

  • Normal wear or ingestion of dirt into engine or hydraulic system due to lack of appropriate maintenance in formal or severe service operation conditions
    • Examples of severe conditions: foundries, lumber yards, cement plants, or other dusty environments
  • Deterioration of appearance items due to normal use or exposure

3.5 Routine Maintenance and Consumables

  • Normal replacement of service items:
    • Tune-up parts
    • Oil filters
    • Air filters
  • Normal maintenance services:
    • Engine tune-ups
    • Fuel system cleaning
    • Wheel, brake, and clutch adjustments
  • Tires and tubes
  • All batteries

3.6 Brake Components

  • Brake shoes
  • Wheel cylinders
  • Master cylinder
  • Hub seals
  • Axle seals

3.7 Non-PowerLiftX Products

  • Options, accessories, and/or attachments not manufactured by PowerLiftX

3.8 Geographic Limitations

  • Vehicles operated outside the continental United States of America

4. Claim Process

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact your authorized PowerLiftX dealer or our warranty department
  2. Provide the forklift’s serial number and detailed description of the issue
  3. Our technicians will assess the claim and determine if it’s covered under warranty
  4. If approved, repairs will be scheduled and performed by authorized technicians

5. Owner Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, owners must:

  1. Operate the forklift as intended and described in the operator’s manual
  2. Perform all scheduled maintenance as outlined in the service manual
  3. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs
  4. Use only PowerLiftX approved parts and fluids
  5. Report any issues promptly to prevent further damage
